My Motherhood Journey — And Why the Motherhood Collection Means Everything to Me

I didn’t always know photography would become my career.

Back in high school, I took photography classes and loved them—but at the time, it felt like just that: a class. Something creative. Something fun. Over the years, I naturally gravitated toward capturing aesthetically pleasing moments—light hitting a wall just right, quiet details, candid expressions. I was always the one taking photos, even when I didn’t realize why.

It came effortlessly. I never forced it. And honestly, I never thought of it as something I could build a life around.

That changed when I became a mother.

Becoming a Mother Changed Everything

When I had my daughter, something shifted in me. Suddenly, time felt louder. Faster. Fragile.

I wanted to document everything—her tiny fingers, her sleepy stretches, the way her face changed month to month, the first smiles, the first laughs, the milestones that felt small to the world but monumental to me.

Her first year didn’t just pass—it flew.

And somewhere in the middle of late nights, contact naps, and a camera roll full of moments I never wanted to forget, it clicked:

This is it. This is what I’m meant to capture—for other mothers, too.

Why the Motherhood Collection Is So Personal to Me

The Motherhood Collection exists because I know firsthand how quickly these seasons move. I know how easy it is to forget how small they once were. I know how often moms are in the moment but rarely in the photo.

This collection isn’t about perfection. It’s about presence.

It’s about capturing motherhood as it truly is—tender, exhausting, beautiful, emotional, and fleeting. It’s about freezing time just long enough to remember how it felt.

I hold this collection close to my heart because it was born from my own journey. From the realization that photography isn’t just art—it’s memory preservation.

From My Story to Yours

Motherhood didn’t just make me want to take photos. It made me want to serve other women the way I wish someone had served me:

By documenting their stories honestly. By reminding them that they deserve to be seen. By giving them something tangible to look back on when the days blur together.

If you’re in this season—whether you’re expecting, in the thick of newborn life, or watching your baby grow faster than you’re ready for—this collection was created for you.

Because one day, these moments won’t be this small anymore. And you’ll be grateful you held onto them.

This is more than photography to me. This is motherhood, remembered.
